Violin, Viola, Cello and Beginner Piano Instructor
I started with violin at age 8 with the Suzuki program in Lafourche Parish Schools for 8 years. As soon as I saw and heard the violin I knew that I wanted to learn music and to later teach. I enjoy all types of music but my favorite is classical. I can express myself in music and want my students to have that same experience.
In 1990 I continued with lessons with Bonnie Le until about 2006. In 1997 I started teaching violin in my home and later at Hoffmans in Houma and Thibodaux areas. Started at SOLA in 2003 teaching violin and later cello and viola until 2012. In 2008 until present teaching violin, viola, cello, and piano at the Montessori School. In 2012 on Barrow Street I started teaching beginner piano. December 2013 until present started teaching with Brushworks on Hollywood Rd.
2000 until present I play violin for a variety of religious services.
2003 -2008 I performed music at Lutcher High School and Thibodaux playhouse musicals.
2005 until present I am a member of South Louisiana Community Orchestra.
2013 I did a Suzuki Training Course for Pre-violin and Suzuki Book 1.
I have 2 Recitals a year one in December and May.
